A grading plan shall be submitted and approved and a grading <br /> permit issued by the Building Inspection Division prior to <br /> performing any excavation or filling of earth material : <br /> a. A grading plan shall contain the information listed in <br /> the U.B.C. , Appendix, Chapter 70 , Section 7006 (d ) . <br /> b. The grading plan shall include complete drainage details <br /> and elevations of the adjacent parcels. Retaining wall <br /> details shall be submitted where applicable. <br /> c. Grading- in excess of 5, 000 cubic yards shall comply with <br /> Section 7014 for "Engineered Grading Requirements. " <br /> d. All recommendations of the soils engineer shall be <br /> incorporated in the grading plans . <br /> e. All compaction reports must be submitted prior to a <br /> foundation inspection. <br /> f. All grading permits are subject to approval by the other <br /> departments. <br /> 2 . In order to commence construction beyond the foundation <br /> stage, requirements of emergency vehicle access and adequate <br /> water for fire suppression shall be provided in accordance <br /> with Section 10 . 207, Section 10. 312 and Sections 87. 103 (a) , <br /> (b) and (c ) of the 1985 Uniform Fire Code. Compliance with <br /> these requirements will be determined by the Fire District <br /> with jurisdiction over the project. <br />
