Box 388
Stockton, CA 95201-0388
RE: Di Salvo Trucking Facility located at 1444 Lathrop Road in Lathrop, California
SUBJECT: Request for Extension to'.March 1, 1995, Deadline to Begin Drilling
Dear Mr. Sasson;
This Ietter is to confirm our telephone conversation n February 27, 1995, in which you gave verbal
approval to analyze the soil samples to be collected from the above referenced site as proposed in the
September 27, 1994, work plan prepared by Condor Earth Technologies, Inc., (Condor). Condor proposed
analyzing the soil samples collected from the above.referenced site for Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as diesel
(TPH-d) by method 3550/LUFT. Additionally, this letter is to elaborate on Condor's request, on behalf of Di
Salvo Trucking, for an extension to the March 1, 1995, deadline to begin drilling at the site.
Currently, Di Salvo Trucking is involved with a soil and/or groundwater investigation at the above
referenced site and at 100 South Ventura Avenue in Stockto i, California. To the best of my knowledge, Mr.
J.
Tounger of Di Salvo Trucking, is responsible for overseeing the environmental investigations located at both
sites, in addition to managing the Di Salvo trucking fleet. At present, the Ventura Avenue site is receiving a
majority of Mr. Tounger's attention because of a real estate ransaction affected by the investigation of soil
contamination associated with two former diesel undergroun storage tanks formerly located at the site.
Therefore, to allow Mr. Tounger the time to focus on the Ventura Avenue site, Condor requests, on behalf of
Di Salvo Trucking, an extension to the March 1, 1995, deadline to begin drilling at the site. The requested
extension is for sixty (60) days from the previous March 1, 1995, deadline.
At your earliest convenience, please provide written concurrence of the requested extension for
beginning drilling at the Di Salvo Trucking Facility.
