Fi WORK"P
MODIFIED GROUNDWATER SAMPLING
Di Salvo Trucking
F,
1444 Lathrop Road
Lathrop, Calif rnia.
FSan Joaquin County
Prepared loy
CONDOR EARTH TE iOLOGEES, INC.
July 25, 19)5
1.0 INTRODUCTION
This work plan for modified groundwater sa ling of MW1 located at the Di Salvo
Trucking facility at 1444 Lathrop Road in Lathrop, California has been prepared to evaluate
the lateral extent of groundwater contamination associated with former underground storage
tanks (USTs) at the site. The location of the Di Trucking facility is shown on Figure 1,
Appendix A, and the location of MWI. and the former USTs are shown on Figure 2, Appendix
A. This work plan includes a description of the proposed work and the rationale used to
estimate the area of influence. This work plan was prepared by Condor Earth Technologies,
Inc., (Condor) at the request of Mr. Robert Lawlor f Di Salvo Trucking.
F
2.0 SITE BACKGROUND
F2.1 Tank Removal
Seven underground storage-tanks were removed from the site on August 11, 1993. The
contents of the tanks were diesel, motor oil, and wase oil. Laboratory analysis detected 80
mg/kg diesel and 350 mg/kg motor oil in the soil sample collected from beneath the east end
of TK4 at a depth of 13.5 feet below :ground surface (bgs). Grey petroleum staining was noted
on the east sidewall at the fill ends of TK3, TK4, and TK5 to a depth of approximately 8 feet.
No other evidence of hydrocarbon contamination w detected during the UST removal and
+ groundwater was not encountered. A complete desc iption of the tank removal is in
Underground Storage Tank Removal, Soil Sampling Results, prepared by Condor, October, 14,
1993.
1 .'
t CONDOR
