Box 388 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201-03 88 <br /> RE: Di Salvo Trucking Facility located at 1444 Lathrop Road in Lathrop, California <br /> SUBJECT: Request for extension to March 1, 1995, deadline to begin drilling <br /> Dear Mr. Sasson; <br /> In a.letter dated January 30, 1995, to John Tounger of Di Salvo Trucking, the San Joaquin County <br /> Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (SJC HS,EHD) approved, with comments, the work <br /> plan prepared by Condor Earth Technologies, Inc., (Condor), dated September 27, 1994, for a groundwater <br /> investigation at the above referenced site. SJCPHS,EHD comments were regarding the proposed groundwater <br /> investigation at the site and.the proposed soil analytical meth d for total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel <br /> (TPH-d). SJCPHS,EHD also requested in their January 30, 1995, letter that drilling proceed at the Di Salvo <br /> Trucking Facility by March 1, 1995, to maintain compliance with SJCPHS,EHD directives. Condor responded <br /> to SJCPHS,EHD comments to the work plan in a letter dated February 21, 1995. <br /> R <br /> Drilling at the site has not been scheduled pending fi al approval for the proposed analytical method <br /> for TPH-d from SJCPHS,EHD. To allow adequate time to finalize the work plan, discuss the final work plan <br /> -' with Di Salvo'Trucking-representatives'and-seliedule-fieid work.--Candor requests,`on`behaif of Di Salvo <br /> Trucking, an extension to the March 1, 1995, deadline to begin drilling at the site. The requested extension is <br /> for sixty (60) days and is to begin on the date of final approval of the work plan by SJCPHS,EHD. <br /> At your earliest convenience, please provide written concurrence of the requested extension for <br /> beginning drilling at the Di Salvo Trucking Facility. A concurrence statement and a stamped, self-addressed <br /> envelope is enclosed for your use. If you prefer to provide a letter of authorization, please do so.
