Following collection of the ater sample, the treatment system will be <br /> shut off pending results of the laboratory analyses. <br /> The water sample will be analyzed for total extractable petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as <br /> kerosene, diesel and motor oil (TEPH) by Method 351O/L T. Table 1 lists the laboratory detection <br /> limits for each constituent. <br /> TABLE 1 <br /> TEPH <br /> Kerosene Diesel Motor lil <br /> 0.05 mW1 0.05m O.Srn <br /> Upon receipt of the laboratory analyses indicating no evidence of TEPH at or above the reported <br /> laboratory detection limits in the water sample collected fro i the carbon canister effluent, the stored <br /> water will be gravity fed to the carbon canister and discharged on site. The effluent from the carbon <br /> canister will be discharged to a surface drain leading to an ey aporation pond located at the south end of <br /> the Di Salvo Lathrop property. The treatment system will be periodically monitored by Di Salvo <br /> Trucking personnel to ensure that water is not discharging pfior to treatment and that the discharged <br /> effluent is not creating a public nuisance. <br /> CONCLUSION <br /> It is the understanding of Di Salvo Trucking that onc, S3CPHS,EHD approves this work plan, no <br /> additional permits or authorizations are required to complete:the proposed work.
