Following collection of the ater sample, the treatment system will be
shut off pending results of the laboratory analyses.
The water sample will be analyzed for total extractable petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as
kerosene, diesel and motor oil (TEPH) by Method 351O/L T. Table 1 lists the laboratory detection
limits for each constituent.
TABLE 1
TEPH
Kerosene Diesel Motor lil
0.05 mW1 0.05m O.Srn
Upon receipt of the laboratory analyses indicating no evidence of TEPH at or above the reported
laboratory detection limits in the water sample collected fro i the carbon canister effluent, the stored
water will be gravity fed to the carbon canister and discharged on site. The effluent from the carbon
canister will be discharged to a surface drain leading to an ey aporation pond located at the south end of
the Di Salvo Lathrop property.
