F C)
Subsurface Investigation, Well Installation, and Sample Analyses Results Page 16
Cintra Park Phase II Development,
r Tract 2705, Tracy, California
July 23, 1998 CTE Job No. 20-0445B
significant groundwater contamination present. Due to the small size of the site, and the close
1 .
proximity of the wells to the excavation, if any significant contamination were present immediately
downgradient of the excavation, this should have been drawn to one of the wells during purging,
resulting in detectable TPH and/or BTEX concentrations in the May l 3th groundwater sampling
event. Since no detectable TPH and/or BTEX concentrations were present in this event, and that
associated soil sample analyses also show very low concentrations (toluene only) we strongly feel
that this is enough evidence to warrant closure of this site.
8.0 LIMITATIONS OF INVESTIGATION
r
- The samples taken and used for testing and the observations made are believed to be representative.
However, soil and geologic conditions and contamination can vary significantly between exposures.
Threrefore, the findings of this report are valid as of the present date. Changes in the conditions of
a property can occur with the passage of time, whether the are due to natural processes or the works
p pY p g Y
of man on this or adjacent properties. In addition, changes in applicable or appropriate standards
may occur, whether they result from legislation or the broadening of knowledge. Accordingly, the
findings of this report may be invalidated wholly or partially by changes outside our control.
l {
CATEEL FILES\CINTRA PARKICINTRA7-13.DOC
i
