L
' Pombo Ranch Facility August 17,2004
Subsurface Investigation Report&
Second Quarter Groundwater Monitoring
' sample disclosed hi concentrations of gasoline and gasoline constituents. The 15 foot
 g
deep sample was reported as non-detected for the compounds analyzed.
' adient to avoid shallow soil contamination + "`{
MW-105 was located further down
 anon. The 1 i 4
boring was drilled through at least 7 feet of relatively dry clay into a coarse sand and P ,
gravel layer. A soil sample was collected every 10 feet for laboratory analysis. The 10 'f'
foot deep sample contained traces of gasoline and ethyl benzene. Soil samples collected
at depths of 20, 30, and 40 feet were reported as non-detected for the compounds
' analyzed.
A shallow well, MW-5, was added to the scope of work and located next to MW-105.
' Soil samples were not collected from this boring since it was situated within five feet of
MW-105.
' Laboratory Soil Sam le Results (May 5, 2004
Sample I.D. Kloberdanz & Associates, in conjunction with GeoAnalytical
Laboratories, Inc., conducted quarterly groundwater monitoring of the Pombo Ranch site
at 24100 S. Lammers Road in Tracy, California. Quarterly monitoring activities
consisted of depth to water and water characterization measurements, well purging,
groundwater sample collection and laboratory analysis of water samples collected from
the three groundwater-monitoring wells at this site.
Traces of gasoline and gasoline constituents were detected in all of the wells with the
exception of MW-3. The water sample collected from monitoring well MW-5 disclosed
' to"w concentration of MTBE.
Laborator 7 Water Sam le Results (May 14, 2004
' Sample I.D.
