Pombo Property <br /> Soil&Groundwater Sampling <br /> i1currently using the property for a heating and air conditioning business and <br /> refrigerants are used or contained in the air conditioning equipment. <br />' . 2.0 SCOPE OF WORK <br /> On September 16, 1998 M.J. Kloberdanz & Associates drilled 8 Geoprobe"�' soil borings <br /> to five feet below groundwater(average depth 15' bgs). A soil sample was obtained from <br /> the capillary fringe in seven of the eight borings. Additional soil samples were collected <br /> from cores with possible contamination. Water samples were collected from all eight <br /> borings. <br />' Boring B-I was drilled in an area of a small pesticide spill identified by the property <br /> owner. Petroleum analysis was included in some of the samples because of the close <br />' proximity to the fuel storage area. Borings B-2, 3, & 4 were drilled around the above <br /> ground fueling area with boring B-3 located at a former underground tank excavation. <br /> Boring B-5 was also drilled to the area of a previously removed underground fuel tank. <br />' Boring B-6 was drilled in the Truck and Tractor wash area and sampled for pesticides <br /> and petroleum compounds. Boring B-7 was drilled in a location where above ground fuel <br /> was stored and used historically. Boring B-8 was drilled in front of the barn at 24124 <br />' Lammers Road where refrigeration equipment is dismantled (Figure 3).
