These wells were installed several years ago for
testing shallow groundwater and studying groundwater conditions immediately east of 425 W.
Larch Road (Frontier Transportation facility). In the past several years, these wells were tested
and the groundwater was not impacted by a release of gasoline that had occurred at the Frontier
Transportation facility. l4 V,Tp I '
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department has approved removal of,K wells
associated with this project. Just two wells (MW-6 and MW-7) are located on city side walk.
Attached is a map showing the locations of these wells and the approval letter from the County
Environmental Health Department. The wells are 20 feet deep and I anticipate be able to remove
them in two to three hours.
The wells will be removed following the San Joaquin County Well Standards. After removal, the
side walk will be patched with cement concrete.
Please advise us for obtaining the necessary encroachment permit for removing these wells.
Sincerely,
EnviroMonitoring Services,Inc.
S. 9avad'yll4a01"&
S.
