Installation of one additional groundwater monitoring well (MW-14) near 1% W- 1 to evaluate the <br /> vertical and lateral extent of impacted groundwater in the sand encountered at forty feet below <br /> surface grade (bsg). <br /> 2. Soil samples with detected petroleum hydrocarbons using the PID or visual inspection will be sent <br /> to a California certified environmental laboratory for analysis. <br /> 3. Soil samples will be analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-G); benzene, <br /> toluene, ethyl benzene, and total xylenes (BTEX); and methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE) by <br /> United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) SW-846 methods 8015B, 8021 , and <br /> 8260B, respectively. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> 1 . Obtain one well installation permit from the Environmental Health Department (EHD). <br /> 2. Notify EHD at least 48 hours prior to the proposed scheduled work dates. <br /> 3. The final screening interval may be adjusted based on soil conditions to assure the screening of the <br /> more. permeable soil. <br /> 4. Analysis of additional soil samples may be required to demonstrate the vertical extent of impacted soil. <br /> 5.
