Craig Klein, PG, Senior Geologist <br /> • Elie Balas, Manager of Projects <br /> • Ami Adini, REA II, REP, BSME, Principal Project Manager <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> SJCEHD is the lead regulatory agency managing the case for California State <br /> Water Resources Control Board Local Oversight Program (LOP). Ms. <br /> McCartney is the case manager for SJCEHD. <br /> On 11-24-2009, FTI retained AA&A in the role of consultant in the <br /> environmental case of the subject site and charged AA&A with the <br /> responsibility of leading the case to closure in compliance with objectives set <br /> forth by State of California. <br /> The meeting was convened by request of AA&A with the following objectives: <br /> 1. Introduce AA&A's Team to SJCEHD <br /> 2. Get AA&A oriented fast on the subject case <br /> 3. Set forth a program of accelerated progress to completion of the <br /> corrective action and securing of case closure <br /> ORIENTATION: <br /> • Six (6) underground fuel storage tanks (USTs), three diesel and three <br /> gasoline tanks, were removed on July 21, 1995. <br /> • Groundwater table at the site is shallow, up and down the 10 feet depth <br /> level. Soil and groundwater have been found to be contaminated with <br /> dissolved gasoline compounds and MTBE. <br /> 12/14/2009 <br />
