Craig Klein, PG, Senior Geologist • Elie Balas, Manager of Projects • Ami Adini, REA II, REP, BSME, Principal Project Manager BACKGROUND: SJCEHD is the lead regulatory agency managing the case for California State Water Resources Control Board Local Oversight Program (LOP). Ms. McCartney is the case manager for SJCEHD. On 11-24-2009, FTI retained AA&A in the role of consultant in the environmental case of the subject site and charged AA&A with the responsibility of leading the case to closure in compliance with objectives set forth by State of California. The meeting was convened by request of AA&A with the following objectives: 1. Introduce AA&A's Team to SJCEHD 2. Get AA&A oriented fast on the subject case 3. Set forth a program of accelerated progress to completion of the corrective action and securing of case closure ORIENTATION: • Six (6) underground fuel storage tanks (USTs), three diesel and three gasoline tanks, were removed on July 21, 1995. • Groundwater table at the site is shallow, up and down the 10 feet depth level. Soil and groundwater have been found to be contaminated with dissolved gasoline compounds and MTBE. 12/14/2009
