By letter dated 20 March 2014, our agency approved the work plan dated 4 February 2014 with <br /> the condition that a work plan be submitted for the proposed well destructions. <br /> The consulting firm, EnviroMonitoring Services, Inc. (EMS), is relatively new to this site and Mr. Masoudi, the <br /> consultant, requested that all of the wells be sampled by low-flow/micro-purge method during the recent sampling <br /> event. Up until now, the wells had been sampled by disposable bailers. Looking at the analytical data from May <br /> 2014, 1 believe that a number of wells, in addition to the ones that you have proposed in your email below, may be <br /> able to be removed from the list of wells that are sampled semi-annually or biennially. I am in the process of reviewing reimbursement request(RR)for the above <br /> referenced claim/site. <br /> Apparently,they had submitted a work plan for MW destruction and remediation for MTBE. Based on <br /> the available info it seems that original draft proposal was made sometime during the Month of February <br /> 2014. You had provided your input/response on March 20, 2014. <br /> Based on my review of your letter it seems that bulk of the proposal made by them was approved. <br /> However,there were some suggestion regarding few items. Is that correct? <br /> Also,they proposed to destroy some wells. They did Q2 GWM in May 2014.
