(BEII) proposes some changes in the <br /> workplan dated July 23 , 2001 . BEII proposes to extend the extent of excavation to 30- <br /> feet by 304eet and up to 204eet deep, depending on whether the foundation of the nearby <br /> shop becomes compromised. Groundwater will be pumped out of the pit during the <br /> excavation into Baker tanks for disposal under manifest by a licensed waste hauler. <br /> In addition, BEII proposes to install four additional groundwater monitoring wells to <br /> define the lateral and vertical extent of soil and groundwater contamination instead of one <br /> (See attached figure). Proposed monitoring wells MW- 12 and MW-13 will be advanced <br /> to 40 ' below grade and screened from 30 ' bg to 40 ' bg.
