Parcel 2 contains 3 general plan designations. The southern <br /> area designated as "existing ditch" on the tentative map is a desig- <br /> nated "conservation. " The area north and south of the ditch is <br /> designated "limited industrial and agriculture. Parcel 1 is desig- <br /> nated as limited industrial to the north and south of the "ditch, " <br /> and conservation along the "ditch. " The entire project area is <br /> zoned M-1 except for 82 . 7± acres of GA-40 on the northeast. <br /> There has been no pressure to expand the industrial designation <br /> into the GA-40 zone or into areas designated agriculture or conser- <br /> vation under the general plan. We would not support a plan to <br /> enlarge the industrial area. <br /> Services <br /> This project is a planned industrial area outside of an industrial <br /> center. Sewage disposal shall be provided by a wastewater treat- <br /> ment plant. Water must be adequate for fire protection, and drain- <br /> age shall be provided in conformity with the drainage criteria <br /> of the Public Works Department. <br /> Access <br /> Both parcels have frontage on Mariposa Road, which is County main- <br /> tained. <br />
