The Report discusses the groundwater samples collected on
30 December 2003 and proposes annual sampling to be conducted in December of each year.
Although Regional Board staff concurs with annual sampling, there are no data to support which
quarter would be best for the annual sampling. Therefore,Dow needs to collect four consecutive
quarters of data from the site monitoring wells to determine which quarter shows the highest
levels of pollutants. Based on the quarterly sampling beginning the second quarter of 2004, by
1 November 2004,please submit a monitoring report that includes groundwater monitoring data
for the second and third quarters of 2004.
