Los Positas Way
APN 209-380-13, SR0081675
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the Soil Suitability/Nitrate
Loading (SSNL) Study, dated January 13, 2020 and submitted on January 27, 2020 for the above noted
location and has the following comments for your consideration.
The SSNL was prepared to determine the suitability of the above noted parcel for onsite wastewater treatment
system (OWTS) usage and the potential impact of nitrate to groundwater for the proposed project
development. The proposed development project includes:
1. A two-bedroom modular home second unit dwelling.
2. The OWTS usage from existing and proposed development with potential daily flow of 700 gallons per
day of wastewater.
Based on the information provided, the EHD finds that the SSNL Study supports the suitability for standard
OWTS usage for future development on the proposed parcels, pursuant to San Joaquin County Ordinance
Code Title 9, Section 9-1105.2(d), provided the existing and proposed OWTS and 100% replacement areas
can meet all required minimum setbacks from any water wells.
Any deviation to project development or OWTS usage other than mentioned above shall require new Soil
Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study.
If you have any questions please contact Naseem Ahmed, Registered Environmental Health Specialist,
REHS, at nahmed@sjgov.org or (209) 468-3436.
Michaelith, REHS
Program Coordinator
C: Live Oak GeoEnvironmental
1868 E.
