O. Box 388
Stockton, CA 95201-0388
Re: Upgrade UST Facility
419 So. Main Street, Manteca
Dear Robert,
Enclosed please find two (2) copies of the Soil Sampling Report pertaining to the SC&D
Boyett Petroleum Fueling Station/Mini Mart located at 419 So. Main Street in Manteca.
As you will see in the report the stockpile soil samples are very low in contamination. At
the request of our client we would propose to keep the 40 some cubic yards of material on
site under cover until spring. At which time the low level material will be aerated on site
and then removed from the site and utilized as fill material as need be by the client. The
total contamination level of all analytes is less then the 50 ppm level requiring a permit for
controlled aeration.
We have had a verbal discussion with the UAPCD and will provide documentation as to
the exemption upon your approval of the request. All appropriate safeguards will be taken
at the time of aeration.
Please contact us with your offices' comments as soon as possible, if there are any
questions.
Sincerely,
W.H.
