Lewis <br /> March 15 , 2004 <br /> Page 3 <br /> SAMPLE ANALYSIS <br /> Select soil and groundwater samples will be analyzed for the presence of petroleum hydrocarbons <br /> including . <br /> • total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg) , total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel <br /> (TPHd) , total petroleum hydrocarbons as motor oil (TPHmo) , and total petroleum hydrocarbons <br /> as jet fuel (TPHj ) by EPA Method 8015 ; <br /> • benzene , toluene , ethyl benzene , and total xylene ( BTEX) ; and <br /> • methyl tertiary butyl ether ( MtBE) , by EPA Method 8260B . <br /> REPORT <br /> A 2004 Chevron Pipeline Assessment Report will be prepared and submitted to the RWQCB <br /> following completion of field activities and receipt of all analytical results . The report will include soil <br /> boring logs , soil and groundwater analytical results , chain-of-custody records , conclusions and <br /> provide further recommendations , if needed . <br /> Preliminary results of the investigation will be discussed with the RWQCB- CVR prior to the submittal <br /> of the 2004 Chevron Pipeline Assessment Report. <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> SECOR anticipates completing field activities within 4 to 6 weeks of the approval of this work plan .
