Regarding Walgreen's plans, <br /> they are a tenant and are not believed to be a responsible party to the environmental issues identified at the property, they <br /> were planning to redevelop but with our findings and the change in the financial market,there current plans may have <br /> changed.The owner and other parties have been reviewing our reports and have made no statements regarding future plans. <br /> Historic information that could ID an historic part is of limited usefulness. Sanborn maps indicate that by 1950 a <br /> portion of the subject property appeared vacant. Two small structures on the southeastern portion of the subject <br /> property, one of which was labeled "greas'g" and depicted with concrete floors (3%2 West Harding Way) and the <br /> other which was labeled as "gas and oils" (3 West Harding Way and 1501 North Center Street) indicating a <br /> filling/service station. City directories list from 1930 to 1950, a filling station ("Douglas Gerald Gas Station, L E <br /> Hunter Gas Station, L B Ratcliff Gas Station, D V Long Gas Station")at 3 West Harding Way. MS Grocery is also <br /> listed in 1930 at 3 West Harding Way.
