(Ground Zero's) recommendation <br /> for closure of the West Coast Tomato (Site) located at 2900 East Harding Way in Stockton, <br /> California. The RWQCB letter issued a Conditional No Further Action Determination, to be <br /> effective upon documentation of the destruction of the monitoring wells at the Site. Ground Zero is <br /> submitting this report documenting the destruction of the monitoring wells as per San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department (EHD) requirements as well as the disposal of well <br /> destruction derived waste. <br /> The location of the site is shown on Figure 1. A site plan with the former well locations is <br /> attached as Figure 2. <br /> Field Work Activities <br /> The proper well destruction permit was obtained from EHD (SR# 62456) and a copy is included in <br /> Attachment A. Underground utilities were cleared after marking the well locations in white paint <br /> and calling Underground Services Alert. Underground Services Alert issued ticket number 140305, <br /> a copy of which is included in Attachment B. <br /> Well Destruction <br /> A Ground Zero Geologist, under the supervision of a California Professional Geologist, was on- <br /> site to oversee the destruction of five groundwater monitoring wells by V&W Drilling of <br /> Stockton, California(C-57 720904).
