(Ground Zero) on behalf of West
Coast Tomato, L.P. of California discussing the activities conducted at the subject site
representing the first quarter of 2011. Site activities included quarterly monitoring and sampling
of all site wells and submitting groundwater samples to a State-certified laboratory for analysis.
The location of the site is shown on Figure 1 and a site plan is included as Figure 2.
SITE ACTIVITIES
Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring and Sampling
On February 4, 2011, an experienced Ground Zero field technician measured the static depth to
water in all site wells. The depth to groundwater in site wells ranged from 51.23 feet below top
of casing (btoc) in well MW4 to 52.14 feet btoc in well MW5. The groundwater elevation at the
site has increased an average of 1.82 feet since the October 21, 2010 groundwater monitoring
event and is currently at the highest recorded levels since November 2008. A hydrograph is
included as Figure 3.
Data from the February 4, 2011 monitoring event indicate the groundwater flow is to the north-
northwest with a gradient of approximately 0.0006 feet per foot.
G:\GROUNDZE\W CTOMATO\WCT-Investigation\Reports\QMR\2011\I QM2011.doc
