On the day of this inspection Mary called the contact number for Ralph's which went to voice mail. Next Mary called Ryder Truck Rental which has a TPID at the same address. She spoke with Billie from Ryder and he told her that this site address belongs to C&S Wholesalers which is a distribution warehouse. Billie was asked about Raph's Grocery and he advised her that Ralph's keeps trailers on site but does not have an office or any personnel on site. Billie also advised Mary that they have Ralph's TPID posted in their office on site. No waste tires were observed on the premises on the day of the inspection. On April 29th I called the contact number for Raplh's Grocery(951) 778-6342 and left a message. Greg Peterson promply called back and we discussed the site. He confirmed they do not have an office at this location but they do store trailers there and have them serviced by East Bay Tire Company. Greg advised me that the TPID is posted in Ryder's office and East Bay Tire mails him all manifests along with work invoices to his office in Riverside CA. Greg e-mailed me 4 months of manifests as well as a picture of the posted TPID. Upon review of those documents everything seemed to be in order. No violations or areas of concern noted. Additional note: East Bay Tire seems to be sending copies of the complete hauler manifest. I will contact East Bay Tire and advise them to send only the customer receipt portion. I advised Mr. Peterson to retain all manifests for 3 years.
