The reported concentrations of total
and dissolved Cr were below the CDPH MCL of 50 pg/L and within the range of concentrations
detected during previous events.
Dissolved Cr VI was detected in the groundwater samples from monitoring wells LPW-1
(cross-gradient), LPW-2 (downgradient), and LPW-3 (upgradient) at concentrations of
7.5, 14, and 3.5 pg/L (LPW-3 duplicate at 3.4 pg/L), respectively. The reported concentrations
of dissolved Cr VI in the groundwater samples were below the CDPH MCL of 50 pg/L and within
the range of concentrations detected during previous events.
January 2010
Total Cr was detected in the groundwater samples from monitoring wells LPW-1 and LPW-2 at
concentrations of 5.OJ and 13 pg/L, respectively. Dissolved Cr was detected in the groundwater
samples from wells LPW-1 and LPW-2 at concentrations of 4.3J and 11 pg/L, respectively.
Total and dissolved Cr were not detected above the laboratory reporting limit (10 pg/L) in the
groundwater samples from well LPW-3. The reported concentrations of total and dissolved Cr
were below the CDPH MCL of 50 pg/L and within the range of concentrations detected during
previous events.
Dissolved Cr VI was detected in the groundwater samples from monitoring wells LPW-1
(cross-gradient), LPW-2 (downgradient), and LPW-3 (upgradient) at concentrations of
6.3, 13, and 2.9 pg/L (LPW-3 duplicate at 2.8 pg/L), respectively. The reported concentrations
of dissolved Cr VI in the groundwater samples were below the CDPH MCL of 50 pg/L and within
the range of concentrations detected during previous events.
February 2010
Total Cr was detected in the groundwater samples from monitoring wells LPW-1 and LPW-2 at
concentrations of 3.7J and 11 pg/L, respectively. Dissolved Cr was detected in the groundwater
samples from wells LPW-1 and LPW-2 at concentrations of 3.5J and 11 pg/L, respectively.
(cross-gradient), LPW-2 (downgradient), and LPW-3 (upgradient) at concentrations of 5.0, 13,
and 7.1 pg/L (LPW-3 duplicate at 6.8 pg/L), respectively. The reported concentrations of
dissolved Cr VI in the groundwater samples were below the CDPH MCL of 50 pg/L and within
the range of concentrations detected during previous events.
PA10626.000.0\Docs\Semi-Annual Groundwater Monitoring&SamplingIathrop Monthly Groundwater Monitoring\Ltr_042710.doc
