These briefings should also highlight and describe known spill events or failures,mal- <br /> functioning components, and recently developed precautionary measures. Personnel will also be <br /> instructed in operation and maintenance of equipment to prevent the discharges of oil, and in <br /> applicable pollution control laws, rules, and regulations.
