Groundwater Monitoring Plan 8 <br /> 4.0 SCHEDULE AND REPORTING <br /> This section describes the proposed groundwater monitoring schedule and reporting activities for <br /> the facilities. <br /> 4.1 Monitoring Schedule <br /> The groundwater monitoring wells will be installed within 30-days of written approval of this plan <br /> by the CV-RWQCB. The proposed schedule as outlined in the action plan for the calendar year <br /> 2002 is presented below: <br /> Task Dates <br /> Submit workplan to CV-RWQCB Jan 10, 2002 <br /> Receive final approval of workplan from February 11, 2002' <br /> CV-RWQCB <br /> Install and develop monitoring wells February - March 2002 <br /> Begin groundwater monitoring February-March 2002 <br /> (minimum of 1 week after well installation <br /> and development) <br /> Conduct one year of quarterly groundwater March,June, September, and December <br /> monitoring,gauging, and data evaluation 2002 <br /> Submit Quarterly Reports to CV-RWQCB 60-days from the completion of the <br /> quarterly events (May,August, and <br /> November 2002 and February 2003 <br /> Submit Feasibility Study/Remedial Options January 1, 20032 <br /> S/RO) Report to CV-RWQCB <br /> Groundwater monitoring will be conducted quarterly for a period of one year and will begin in the <br /> later part of the first quarter of 2002 pending approval of this plan. An initial evaluation of <br /> groundwater conditions at the facilities will be completed after the first two quarterly monitoring <br /> events. At which, MonierLifetile may request modifications to the groundwater monitoring <br /> program and compliance dates listed in the preliminary Cleanup and Abatement Order. <br /> 4.2 Quarterly Reports <br /> Separate quarterly monitoring reports will be submitted and will include the following: <br /> ■ Site location map for each facility <br /> Date for CV-RWQCB approval has been accelerated to meet the final schedule necessary to achieve <br /> compliance with the Order. <br /> The FS/RO Report will be based on the first 3 quarters of monitoring to meet the Order schedule for this <br /> report.
