The Phase II ESA activities are being completed prior to a property transaction be-
tween the Judicial Council of California and the current site owner(100 Oak Street Corporation).
BORING ADVANCEMENT
The soil borings will be advanced by a truck or track-mounted direct push rig. Prior to the invasive
field activities, we will meet with our utility locating subcontractor to clear the location of each
boring. The locations of the borings may change slightly in the event utility lines are located at
or near the proposed locations.
The fieldwork planned for this project will consist of the advancement of three borings (B-1
through B-3) to a depth of 30 to 35 feet below ground surface (ft bgs) and the advancement of
three soil vapor borings (SV-1 through SV-3) to a depth of approximately 5.5 ft bgs. The approxi-
mate locations of the borings are depicted on the attached figure. The total number of borings and
depth may change to accommodate actual site conditions such as site lithology or availability of
groundwater for sampling.
1956 Webster Street - Suite 400 - Oakland, California 94612 - Phone(510)633-5640 - Fax(510)633-5646
Ontario - Irvine - San Diego - Los Angeles - Oakland ■ Las Vegas - Salt Lake City - Phoenix
