This facility's EPA ID number is inactive. A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, <br /> dispose of, transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without an EPA ID number. <br /> Immediately contact DTSC and reactivate your EPA ID number and submit evidence to the EHD by July <br /> 27, 2013. A form has been provided. <br /> 108. Erick Melendrez confirmed that metal fines generated from sanding vehicles are being thrown into <br /> the trash without first determining particle size or hazardous properties. Any person who generates a <br /> waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately stop throwing metal fines into the <br /> trash, make a hazardous waste determination for the sanding waste and metal fines, and manage it <br /> according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Particles 100 microns or smaller must be handled as <br /> hazardous waste if the metal is determined to be a hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting <br /> documentation explaining how this waste was managed by July 27, 2013. <br /> 108. Erick Melendrez confirmed that used paint booth filters generated from the paint booth are being <br /> thrown into the trash without first determining hazardous properties. Any person who generates a waste <br /> shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately stop throwing used paint booth filters into <br /> the trash, make a hazardous waste determination for the used paint booth filters, and manage it <br /> according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations.
