One <br /> sample will be collected from each fifteen foot sample grid. <br /> Excavation Walls: Samples from the excavation walls will be staggered depths along the vertical <br /> profile. Samples will be collected at five foot depth increments at each wall (example: a 7 foot <br /> deep excavation would require a.sample ata depth of 3, a, and 7 foot depth), <br /> Stoc ileail: Soil destined for offsite disposal will be sampled at intervals of one sample per <br /> 100 cubic yards, or more frcquently if required by the disposal facility. Soil which is being tested <br /> for possible re-use at the site will be sampled at intervals of one sample per 50 cubic yards or <br /> more frequently. <br /> • Laboratory Methods--All samples collected during excavation and confirmation testing <br /> will be analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbon (TPH) by Environmental Protection <br /> Agency Method (FPA) 5015 for carbon chain and for Volatile Organic Compounds by <br /> EPA method $2601:3. <br /> The work scope proposed in this document is intended to provide a rapid response to this recent <br /> discovery in accordance with all regulations and requirements of the S DEJ-l.
