Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. The facility <br />has the following waste stored on site: <br />a. Two 1 -gallon containers of oily liquid stored on top of a hazardous waste drum. <br />Immediately make a hazardous waste determination for the above waste, and manage it according the <br />Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining <br />how these wastes were managed by May 5, 2011. <br />20. One partially full 55 -gallon drum is labeled "hazardous waste, solids containing flammable liquid, <br />toxic absorbents, accumulation date 1-20-08." The drum is missing the generator name and address. <br />All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br />1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />2. name and address of generator <br />3. hazardous properties <br />4. physical state <br />5. composition (contents) <br />6. accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all <br />the required information. <br />23. Three fuel/oil filters were stored on top of a hazardous waste drum. Used oil/fuel filters must be <br />stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil and fuel filters," and marked with an <br />accumulation start date. Immediately place the filters in a container and label. Ensure that all used oil/ <br />fuel filters are managed in this way.
