In case of clear emergency security should dial 911. If the situation allows, security should also contact the Plant Manager and Operations Supervisor. Security should not disable the Truck Gate so that the Operations Supervisor and/or Plant Manager can enter the plant if necessary. Security should proceed to the admin building with all safety gear including escape respirator and radio. Security should note the direction of the windsock as they exit. If the main siren has sounded, security should first trip the HVAC for the admin building and then view the C12 monitor screens. Security should report C12 monitor readings and windsock direction to the Plant Manager and/or Operations Supervisor. Further direction will be provided to security by the Plant Manager and/or Operations Supervisor. Depending on the situation security may be directed to shelter in place, evacuate, or return to man the front gate. Patients who have been contaminated with hazardous materials must be decontaminated prior to contact with medical personnel. Gross decontamination procedures should be followed as closely as possible to ensure the safety of the emergency medical personnel and the receiving hospital. The Tracy site is not equipped with medical monitoring equipment. In the event of Emergency response, the site will request that the Tracy Fire Department perform medical monitoring of the Emergency response entry teams.
