The submittal contains all the information required to evaluate the <br /> applicability of the Waiver; therefore, the NOI is considered complete and the discharge meets <br /> the conditions of the Waiver. The discharge is hereby covered under the Waiver Order <br /> R5-2013-0145-0055. Please include this number on all correspondence related to this <br /> discharge. <br /> PROJECT LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION <br /> PG&E is planning on inspecting portions of an underground pipeline for corrosion issues. The <br /> project is located on an island in the delta near the intersection of Bacon Island Road and West <br /> Lower Jones Road, Stockton in San Joaquin County. <br /> The pipeline will be inspected by excavating a 10 foot by 10 foot section to 8 feet below ground <br /> surface (bgs). Groundwater is expected at less than 20 feet bgs. The pipeline will be <br /> inspected and will be repaired or replaced as necessary. Pipeline excavation is anticipated to <br /> require dewatering approximately 20,000 gallons to 70,000 per day of groundwater, depending <br /> on the need for repairs and the duration of the project. Adverse impacts to groundwater are <br /> not expected to be encountered during this excavation project. The groundwater will be <br /> applied to 50 acres of agricultural property located adjacent to the project location on San <br /> Joaquin County Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) 129-170-13 with the property owner's <br /> permission. Staging of the water trucks and water transfer will occur on the same parcel. <br /> The project is scheduled to start the first week of August and will continue for approximately 5 <br /> to 6 weeks.
