Swanson:
As requested, on July 30 and August 1, 1990 representatives of
our firm drilled one test boring to a depth of approximately 10
feet and drilled and set-up one 3-foot deep percolation test hole
at Parcel I of the subject property. The test boring and
percolation test hole were drilled with a truck mounted drill rig
using continuous-flight augers . A continuous log of the soils
encountered in the test boring was maintained by our
representative and is presented on the Log of Boring, Plate A-
2 . All soils have been classified according to the Unifed Soil
Classification System which is presented on Plate A-1 .
The percolation test hole was filled with water on July 30, 1990
and left to soak overnight. A representative of our firm
returned to the site on July 31, 1990 and performed the
percolation test per San Joaquin County guidelines . The test was
performed for a period of four hours and the last 30 minutes was
used to calculate the percolation rate of 17-1/2 minutes per
inch.
