ground-surface elevation, and top of casing elevation at each monitoring well. Latitude and
longitude will be referenced to the NAD83 datum and elevation will be referenced to the
NAVD88 datum.
A survey data report will be up-loaded into California Geotracker, and used to prepare future
groundwater elevation maps for the subject site.
3.7 DISPOSAL OF INVESTIGATIVE-DERIVED WASTE
Soil and water derived from the subsurface investigation will be contained in Department of
Transportation (DOT)-approved drums stored temporarily at the Site. A composite soil sample
and a water sample will be collected and submitted for laboratory analyses. The samples will
be analyzed for TPH-g by EPA Method 8260B, TPH-d and TPH-mo by EPA Method 8015M
with a silica gel cleanup, BTEX and MTBE by EPA Method 8260B, and total lead by EPA
Method 6010. The waste will be profiled and delivered to an approved disposal facility.
3.8 DATA EVALUATION AND REPORTING
ETIC will prepare a written report describing the results of the subsurface investigation and
groundwater monitoring well installations. The sampling locations and well locations will be
illustrated on a map of the Site. Field procedures and laboratory methods will be described in
the report, and technical data collected during the sampling program will be tabulated and
evaluated. The report will include a narrative summary of field and analytical data and the
analytical data will be compared to regulatory standards. ETIC will also present conclusions in
the report regarding soil and groundwater quality at the Site.
4.0 SCHEDULE
Drilling and sampling can be conducted within four weeks of receiving approval of the work
plan from the CVRWQCB. Within 30 days of the receipt of analytical data and based on the
results of the investigation, a letter addendum to this work plan will be submitted to the
CVRWQCB which will describe the locations and construction details of the proposed
groundwater monitoring wells. Upon receiving approval of the work plan addendum, ETIC
will install the groundwater monitoring wells. The written report summarizing the results of
both the soil and groundwater investigation and the well installations will be completed within
eight weeks following the receipt of analytical data for soil and groundwater samples collected
during well installation.
11
