Stantec <br /> Monthly Status Report = April 2013 <br /> Chevron Facility #92033 - Stockton Charter Way Commingled Plume No , CP0057 <br /> May 14 , 2013 <br /> SVE System Vapor Sampling <br /> In order to monitor the effectiveness of the SVE system and verify permit compliance , vapor <br /> samples are collected monthly at the oxidizer influent and at the stack effluent . Stantec <br /> collected influent and effluent vapor samples on April 26 , 2013 and submitted to Kiff Analytical <br /> LLC of Davis , California for analyses of total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg ) , <br /> benzene , toluene , ethylbenzene , total xylenes , and methyl tert- butyl ether ( MTBE ) by <br /> Environmental Protection Agency Method 8260B . Influent and effluent vapor analytical results <br /> are summarized in Tables 2 and 3 . Well status summary is included in Table 4 . Certified <br /> laboratory analytical reports and Stantec Lab Validation Forms are included as Attachment C . <br /> SVE System Performance <br /> The SVE system operated above the minimum oxidizer temperature of 1 , 400 OF as required by <br /> the SJVAPCD ATC . Using the flow rate data collected on the SVE system and the influent and <br /> effluent vapor analytical results in parts per million by volume ( ppmv) , the petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon recovery and emission rates were estimated . The SVE system recovered TPHg at <br /> a recovery rate of 39 . 29 pounds per day ( lbs/day) , benzene at 0 . 10 lbs/day , and MTBE at 0 . 03 <br /> lbs/day . During the 547 hours of operation in April 2013 , the SVE system recovered <br /> approximately 895 . 39 lbs of TPHg , 2 . 18 lbs of benzene , and 0 . 60 lbs of MTBE . <br /> The SVE system emitted TPHg at a rate of 0 . 30 lbs/day , benzene at 0 . 002 lbs/day , and MTBE <br /> at 0 . 006 lbs/day , which are below the SJVAPCD ATC emission limit of 54 . 2 lbs/day or 2 lbs/day <br /> if control efficiency is less than 95 % . Using the TPHg recovery and emission rates , the thermal - <br /> catalytic oxidizer control efficiency was estimated to be approximately 99 % . Based on these <br /> system results , the Chevron Facility # 92033 SVE system located at 508 West Dr, Martin Luther <br /> King Jr. Boulevard in Stockton , California complied with the SJVAPCD ATC No .
