(AGE) has prepared the enclosed Phase II Site <br /> Assessment Report for the property at 1301 West Lockeford Street, APN 035-330-15, in Lodi, <br /> California. The work was performed as part of a due diligence effort to investigate areas of potential <br /> environmental concern at the site, identified through a Phase I investigation of the property. <br /> The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board requirements for the investigation of <br /> underground storage tank (UST) sites was used as guidelines for the investigation. The location of <br /> the site and its surroundings are illustrated in Figure 1; major features on the site and boring <br /> locations are illustrated in Figure 2. <br /> INTRODUCTION/BACKGRO UTND <br /> The purpose of the investigation was to test for the presence or absence of suspected contaminants <br /> in the areas of identified potential concern associated with a former Arco service station that <br /> operated at the subject property as recently as March 1987; potential concerns included releases of <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons related to former dispenser islands and underground storage tanks (USTs) <br /> iucated at the site. The scope of work included advancement of three probe borings to collect soil <br /> and grab ground water samples for laboratory analysis. <br /> The subject property is located in the northwest portion of the City of Lodi, San Joaquin County, on <br /> the northwest corner of West Lockeford S~reet and Ham Lane. Land use of the surrounding <br /> properties is both residential and commercial.
