Please see the attached updated
STI reports that Gary said should be in compliance. Please advise if these are OK.
Thank you,
Ty Rust, CTA, CSMS
Public Works Safety/Training Officer
1465 South Lincoln Street
Stockton, CA 95206
(209)937-8106
15CITY OF
STIT
http://www.stocktonca.gov
From: Baker, Lydia <Ibaker@sjgov.org>
Sent: Monday,April 20, 2020 8:48 AM
To:Ty Rust<Ty.Rust@stocktonca.gov>
Cc: Chad Reed <Chad.Reed@stocktonca.gov>
Subject: RE: Return to Compliance
CAUTION:This email originated from outside the City of Stockton. Do not click any links or open attachments if this is unsolicited
email.
Hello Ty,
I spoke with Cesar about the STI reports by Gary Reeves. He said that since we are not certified inspectors and their
requirements are not in regulation, we can't really say what is missing. The STI standard has specific items that should
be in the report and that as a certified inspector Gary should be familiar with that section. I would have Gary contact STI
for specifics based on their interpretation of their own standards. Joe Mentzer(Standards Engineer)would be the
contact at STI. His contact information is jmentzer@steeltank.com and (847)438-8265.
1 hope this helps.
Best Regards,
Lydia Baker
i
