Louise Avenue <br /> Lathrop , California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> In accordance with a request from Mr. Pat Mitchell of California Natural Products, Inc.,Advanced <br /> GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE)has prepared the enclosed Preliminary Site Assessment Work Plan <br /> for two agricultural parcels located at in Lathrop, California. Site addresses for the two adjoining <br /> parcels are uncertain, but are thought to be 2020 E. Park Street and 2440 E. Louise Avenue. Also <br /> included is a site-specific health and safety plan, a drilling permit application and permit fee. The <br /> scope of work is to advanced five soil probe borings to 20 feet below surface grade (bsg)to collect <br /> ground water samples. The objective is to assess impacts to the parcels, if any, via ground water <br /> from nearby sites. The location of the parcels is illustrated in Figure 1 -Location Map. A plan of the <br /> site is depicted in Figure 2 -Site Plan. <br /> This work plan is prepared in accordance with San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD)and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board guidelines for the investigation of UST sites <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> 2.1. SITE LOCATION <br /> The parcels are located in the southwest quarter of Section 25, Township 1 South, Range 6 East, <br /> Mount Diablo Base and Meridian (MDB&M). Parcel 17 occupies 29.68 acres,parcel 18 occupies <br /> 16.45 acres, according to Maps 09 and 10,respectively, in Book 198 of the San Joaquin County Tax <br /> Assessors' Office <br /> The parcels are located in Lathrop, California, north of Louise Avenue, east of Park Street and <br /> further east of McKinley Road,well south of Lathrop Road,west of the Union Pacific Railroad Line <br /> and further west of a former Magnesium plant. The parcels are in an agricultural/ <br /> commercial/industrial area of low topographic relief at an elevation between 20 and 25 feet above Z <br /> mean sea level. The regional slope of the area is gently toward the southwest. The surface of the <br /> parcels are unpaved and are utilized for agricultural purposes. No structures are present on the <br /> parcels. The only known use of the parcels has been for agricultural purposes. <br /> 2.3. REGIONAL GROUND WATER ELEVATION <br /> The subject property is located just outside the contoured areas on the maps titled Lines of Equal <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. <br />
