A 1 <br />PAGE: 02 <br />At the request of management, air monitoring for asbestos and other fibers was <br />performed. The operations evaluated were: <br />♦ Caliper Core Check In ♦ Bonding <br />♦ Riveter ♦ Ce -Riveter <br />♦ ARC Grinding ♦ Blaste-!Wheelabrator <br />♦ Oe -Bonding ♦ Core Sorter <br />The operations were described by management as routine. <br />SUMMARY OF RESULTSIOBSERVATIONS/CONCLUSIONS: <br />♦ Results of the air monitoring found all eight monitored personnel to receive <br />exposures well below the recommended exposure criteria. <br />SURVEY METHOD: <br />Personal air samples for asbestos fibers were collected with SF;C sampling pumps and <br />37 mm COWL cassettes. The samples were collected at a flow rate of 2 liters per <br />minute. Calibration was performed before and after, using a Brooks Rotometer. <br />Analyses for all samples collected were performed by the Health Science Associates <br />which is accredited by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA). <br />Respectfully submitt <br />i <br />
