Response to SJC Environmental Health Department Inspection <br />Date of Inspection: June 16, 2007 <br />Inspected By: San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br />Department <br />Hazardous Waste Generator Program <br />Inspection Report <br />Inspectors: Toua Yang, R.E.H.S. <br />Willy Ng, SR. R.E.H.S. <br />Finding #1: <br />55 gallon drum storing Caliper Waste Process Water has been stored <br />on-site for greater 90 days. Drum label indicated an accumulation. <br />Start date of 2/22/07. Immediately, have waste dispose properly and <br />manifested. Submit a copy of disposal manifest to this office by <br />07/18/07. <br />Corrective Action #1: <br />Environmental Recovery Service Inc., QBR's contracted hauling <br />company, hauled the 55 -gallon drum on Friday June 29tH <br />The finding was a result of an oversight by management and not by <br />trained associates. Associates were trained on handling hazardous <br />waste and labeling in May 2007. <br />Please see attached pick up manifest. <br />Finding #2: <br />Tote containing used blast media was not kept closed except when <br />adding or removing hazardous waste. Correct Immediately. <br />
