Charter Way, Stockton <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR -Notice to Comply) <br />Routine Hazardous Waste Inspection Report <br />No violations were noted at the time of the inspection. <br />Note: Violations corrected on site included: All of the hazardous waste containers throughout the facility <br />were not labeled with the hazardous properties. Four containers of hazardous waste located outside <br />behind the facility were not kept closed except when adding or removing hazardous waste. Hazardous <br />waste containers were being inspected monthly, environmental manager will begin inspecting them <br />weekly. <br />This facility began managing the spent blast media as an excluded recyclable material around July <br />2009. 1 requested that documents reviewed on site be sent to the EHD for review in order to verify that <br />the spent blast media is being managed appropriately. <br />Provided brochure on the SJC Hazardous Waste Facility. This facility is currently managing the used <br />lamps and used batteries as universal waste and all waste aerosol cans as hazardous waste. This <br />facility generated 32.447 tons of hazardous waste for 2009.
