SCM <br /> 1.1 Scope. This specification covers the requirements for both manganese <br /> and zinc base pbosphating compounds to be used in the preparation of baths <br /> for pbospbate coating of iron and steel. <br /> 1.2 Classification. Phosphating compounds shall consist of the following <br /> types and compositions as specified (see 6.2). Type designations have been <br /> charmed from those of MIL-P-50002 (see 6.4). <br /> Type M - Mangaese phosphate base. <br /> Composition A - Powder <br /> Composition B - Liquid <br /> Type Z - Zinc pbospbste base. <br /> 2.
