DoD property <br /> originates at Defense Supply Agency,Army,Navy, <br /> Air Force,and Marine Corps installations. <br /> For the purpose of this publication the terms <br /> r "surplus" and "foreign excess" are synonymous <br /> except that surplus refers to property located in <br /> the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii), <br /> the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the <br /> Virgin Islands and foreign excess refers to property <br /> in all other areas. <br /> Surplus and foreign excess property is sold by <br /> the Defense Property Disposal sales offices listed <br /> on Pages 12, 13 and 20. <br /> This pamphlet applies to the sale of Department <br /> of Defense property of general commercial use <br /> For sate by the Superintendent of Documents, U.S. Government <br /> Printing Office,Washington, D.C. 20402 either in its original form or as scrap.
