Union <br /> Rd, Manteca, CA. <br /> General Purpose <br /> The general purpose of the work proposed is to secure the site and prepare to evaluate potential <br /> hazardous issues associated with the quantity and general state of chemicals found at the Gordon <br /> Research Facility_ <br /> Site Description <br /> The site is located at 1085 S. Union Rd in Manteca, San Joaquin County, within the Oak Gardens <br /> Estates subdivision. The southwest property corner is adjacent to, and down-wind of, the northeast <br /> property corner of Brock Elliott Elementary School. The property consists of 3.67 acres comprising <br /> Assessors Parcel Number(APN)222-240-12. See Figures 1-5. <br /> Preliminary Plan <br /> 1. Security—Securing the site by installing a fence at the road with two gates, and trespassing <br /> signs, at the property perimeter and at the existing interior fence behind the residence <br /> 2. Removal of green waste,termination of electric and gas services, removal of asbestos siding <br /> under San Joaquin County permit, leading to the demolition of the property's structures <br /> 3. Complete search of Historical Data from Environmental Data Resources(ESR) <br /> 4. Review and produce copies of all Local and State agency files <br /> 5. Establishing the Hot, Warm, and Cold protection areas <br /> 6. Develop a plan to document and remove the known/labeled chemicals (see Hazardous <br /> Substances/Waste Management Information Tables 1-3) <br /> 7. Health and Safety Plan with Meteorological, Dust Monitoring with Personal Protection <br /> Equipment(PPE) <br /> 8. Establish and document a grid of the property photographically and with GP5 coordinates <br />
