HYDRO-SEARCH . INC . San Joaquin Cowrty (Coen No. 3327).
Dear Mr. Morris:
We have received your comments >reprding the Remedial Action Plan (RAP) for the Tracy,
California site in your lets dated July 14, 1995- 716 Ragland Water Quality Control Board -
Central Vatiey Region (CV-RWQCB) stated the the RAP is acceptable provided certain
comnneants am responded to. These comments, along with our responses, are provkled below.
In addition, the report summarizini; the results of the June 28, 1945 gmund water sampling
event is also enclosed for your review.
CV-RWQCB Coorsrxmtt The RAY irrdleates up to ter recovery Mega will be installed at
the downgradlent edge of the fi+ WFVdoct ph=. At this pumping
rate , drawdown was observed in MW-d, located 118 fed. from
EW-1. It should be noted; however, OW BW-1 was an extremely
ineJlident well (8.696). We believe that properly Installed
extraction wells will be more efficient, provide greater pumping
rates, and provide gtrater areata of inilwAm during operation.
Start-term teats will be conducted on RW-1, RW-3 and RW-5 to
verify this assumption.
