1.0 INTRODUCTION
The Leprino Foods Tracy Facility is located at 2401 MacArthur Drive in Tracy, California.
Because of a fuel release, samples and measurements from site groundwater monitoring wells are
required by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region (CV-
RWQCB)per Monitoring and Reporting Program(MRP)No. R5-2007-0811 dated October 24,
2007 and administered by Ms. Kristin Shelton.
Between September 2009 and March 2010, site groundwater monitoring well MW-17 was
damaged by Mozingo Construction, who was working for the City of Tracy at the time. Periodic
sample collection from this well is mandated by the MRP and attempts to repair the well were
unsuccessful. This work plan specifies methods and materials to be used to replace this well.
A completed Well Boring and Permit Application and Master File Record accompany this work
plan as Attachments 1 and 2,respectively.
1.1 Work Plan Objectives
The purpose of this Work Plan is to describe procedures, design and methodologies to be used
during well replacement. This Work Plan will be submitted to the San Joaquin County Public
Health Services, Environmental Health Division for approval before work proceeds.
2.0 FIELD PROCEDURES
Procedures to be used during replacement of site well MW-17 are described in the following
subsections.
