Box 2009 -
- --Stockton;- -CA 955 2-0-1=
Re: Final Closure Report
MacArthur & Valpico, Tracy
Dear Michael: -
I have discussed the back fill operation with our former off-site
superintendent and he informs me that the contaminated soils were
hauled away first, then the -excavated materials in pile 11SP-1" were
placed in the excavation and compacted. Additional material was then
scraped from a borrow area .adjacefit to the farm buildings. A. marked
up aerial topograph map is attached which indicates the borrow area.
This area was "paced off" in the field and is approximately 55 x 40
feet and about 2 feet deep. This would equate to approximately 152
cu. yards. The land fill receipts indicate that 8 loads of
approximately 18 yards, approximately 144 cu. yds. , were disposed.
It is also my understanding that the chromatographs you requested
have been forwarded to you.
w
If—you-need-any-additional- information, please call. _ - -
Sincerely,
I
Bruce J. r nnan
Director o Planning
BJB/np
Encs
opAES TF
Z OVER 9O
100
YEARS .
EXECUTIVE OFFICES ae
979 BROADWAY P.O.
