f <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> The purpose of this report is to provide a summary report of environmental remediation <br /> R+, activities conducted at the Glenbriar Estates development (the site) in Tracy, California. <br /> Glenbriar Estates is owned by Homestead Land Development Corporation (Homestead), 979 <br /> Y <br /> Broadway, Millbrae, California. Homestead contracted American Environmental Management <br /> F! <br /> Corporation (AEMC) to remove three underground storage tanks and to perform necessary <br /> environmental remediation activities related to leaks or spills from the tanks. ATEC <br /> F <br /> Environmental Consultants (ATEC) was contracted by AEMC to prepare this summary report. <br /> fill <br /> I <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> y� <br /> k,rt ' <br /> Site Description <br /> Glenbriar Estates is a former farm property purchased about 1986 for residential development <br /> by Homestead. The property is located at 27383 MacArthur Drive, Tracy, California, southwest <br /> I �II <br /> I of the intersection of MacArthur Drive and Valpico Road. The site location is indicated on <br /> Figure 1, Site Location Map. Prior to the purchase by Homestead, the property was used as <br /> farmland. The property was known as Pereirra Bros.
