Personnel on site should tine the "buddy" system (pairs). Buddies <br /> should prearrange hand signals or other mean of communication. In emer- <br /> gencies the following hand signals are suggested: <br /> Hand gripping throat: out of air, can't breathe. <br /> trip partner's wrist or place both hands around waist: leave area <br /> immediately, no debate! a <br /> - Hands on top of head: need assistance. <br />
