i TABLE 4 Monitoring Well Water Elevations ' Well Date Well Collar Depth to Water Ground Water Number Elevation (feet) Elevation (feet) t (feet) MW-1 06/19/96 5773 1034 4739 MW-2 06/19/96 58 82 1081 4801 ' MW-3 06/19/96 5828 1024 4804 MW-4 06/19/96 5749 1020 4729 MW-5 06/19/96 5788 1087 4701 t MW-6 06/19/96 5738 1038 4700 MW-7 06/19/96 855 MW-8 06/19/96 --- 879 --- MW-9 06/19/96 --- 950 --- 5.3 Discussion of Analytical Results Analytical laboratory data indicate a moderate decrease in detected constituent levels in monitoring wells MW-1 and MW-6 The analysis for MTBE indicated non detectable levels in all six of the well samples The remaining wells, MW-5, MW-7 MW-8 and MW-9 each indicated non detectable levels for all analyzed constituents The samples previously collected from newly installed wells MW-8 and MW-9 indicated very low, but detectable, levels of gasoline and gasoline constituents The analytical results obtained during this sampling event indicated no detectable gasoline constituents It is suspected that the initial concentrations of analytes were introduced from the capillary fringe during drilling and have subsequently been flushed from these wells All analyzed bailer blanks indicated non detectable levels for analyzed constituents The travel blank was not analyzed during this sampling event 6.0 CONCLUSIONS The followingconclusions and recommendations are based on the observations and ' analytical data collected to date Site, soil and ground water conditions not discovered or currently known may cause a change in the opinions presented in this report Laboratory analysis of ground water samples indicates the presence of moderate levels of gasoline and gasoline constituents in water collected from monitoring well MW-1 and American Caeological Services, Inc j CA95DE-029 11 I 1
