8.0 RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> Based on the results of this sampling event, in conjunction with historical analytical data, <br /> ' AGS recommends that full case closure be granted by the San Joaquin Public Health <br /> Services, Environmental Health Division and the Regional Water Quality Control Board. <br /> ' Incorporated into this document is the information required by the Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board in order to make a determination of"no further action required" <br /> ' status. <br /> Following approval of the closure request by the San Joaquin Public Health Services and <br /> ' the Regional Water Quality Board, the ground water monitoring wells would be <br /> scheduled for destruction in accordance with California State Water Well Standards. <br /> ' 9.0 CLOSURE REQUEST INTRODUCTION <br /> American Geological Services, Inc. has prepared this request for no further action on <br /> ' behalf of Western Refrigerating & Cold Storage. The outline followed for this request is <br /> based on Table 1 of Appendix B, Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations for <br /> Preliminary Investigations and Evaluation of Underground Tank Sites, No Further <br /> Action Requests, draft revision dated October, 1996. <br /> Background, geology, and hydrology information have been presented in previous <br /> sections of this report. <br /> ' 10.0 EXCAVATED SOIL TREATMENT AND DISPOSAL <br /> Approximately 1 522 cubic yards of gasoline contaminated soil were excavated from the <br /> pp <br /> Y � Y <br /> former UST area and aerated on-site. The results of this remedial action were presented <br /> t in a report by AGS dated September 2, 1998.
